Codex usage requires a recognized window duration
Missing or invalid window durations no longer produce guessed five-hour or weekly usage caps.
We still display recognized five-hour and weekly windows in either response position, even if another window cannot be classified. The usage panel calls the affected caps unavailable rather than claiming ChatGPT reported no windows. Automatic resets will not spend a credit without a recognized five-hour cap.
