Describe a task in the dashboard
Start work now has a box where you type what you want done and pick a repository. Sinatra opens a pull request for it, with no Linear ticket or GitHub issue needed.
We built it on the same task the CLI and MCP start, so it gets its own page where you can follow along and answer the agent's questions. It's also step 4 of onboarding: until now a new workspace with no open issues had nothing to start there.
If we can't run the task yet, the box tells you before anything starts: you haven't connected model access, the queue is full, or the repository has no commits, so there's no branch to open a pull request against.
