Official SDKs for Node.js, Python and Go
Install @sinatra-dev/sdk from npm, sinatra-dev from PyPI or github.com/sinatra-dev/sinatra-go with go get to start, follow and stop Sinatra tasks, and delegate Linear and GitHub issues, from your own code.
The clients are generated from the API's OpenAPI spec and released automatically when it changes. They read your token from SINATRA_TOKEN and retry a 429 or 503 with the same idempotency key, so a retry never starts a second task. Paged lists come back as iterators, and an error response arrives as one typed error carrying the status, the error code, a reason and the request id. A status or error code the API adds later doesn't break them. The SDKs page has a quick start for each language.
They are all 0.x. While a client is below 1.0, a breaking API change bumps its minor version, so pin the version you've tested. The Python client needs Python 3.11 or newer and is synchronous only: there's no async client yet. The Node.js client needs Node 20 or newer, and the Go client needs Go 1.24 or newer. Waiting for a reply still means polling, because the API has no streaming.
